Event mechanics

Fatebound Stellar Deck challenges players to match pairs of cards in a classic memory game format. Players flip cards to find matching pairs, with successful matches earning event currency. The event features multiple rounds with increasing difficulty — early rounds use smaller card grids while later rounds expand the grid and introduce more card types to track.

The core loop is simple but requires concentration: cards are laid face-down on a grid, and players must flip exactly two cards per turn. If the two flipped cards match, they stay revealed and the player earns rewards. If they do not match, both cards flip back face-down, and the player must try again.

Each round has a time limit. Completing a round before the timer expires awards bonus rewards. Failed rounds — where the timer expires before all pairs are matched — can be retried immediately without penalty.

How to play

  1. Start a round — open the event from the main event menu. You will see a grid of face-down cards.
  2. Flip first card — click or tap any card to reveal its face. The image or symbol shown is your clue.
  3. Flip second card — click or tap a second card. The game checks whether the two cards match.
  4. Match pairs — if both cards show the same image or symbol, the pair is considered matched. You earn Lucky Paper Star and Stellanite Dust immediately.
  5. No match — if the two cards differ, both flip back face-down. Your turn ends, and you must start a new turn with two fresh flips.
  6. Complete rounds — finish all matches in a round to clear it. Clearing a round before time expires earns bonus Lucky Paper Star. You then advance to the next round with a larger or more complex grid.
  7. Stack rewards — accumulate Lucky Paper Star and Stellanite Dust across multiple rounds and play sessions. Currency is deposited automatically upon each successful match.

Rewards

Match rewards

Each successful card pair match earns:

  • Lucky Paper Star currency (primary event currency)
  • Stellanite Dust (general progression resource)

Round completion bonuses

Completing a full round grants:

  • Bonus Lucky Paper Star — scaled by how quickly you completed the round
  • Additional Stellanite Dust — flat bonus for clearing the round

The faster you complete a round, the higher your bonus multiplier. Prioritizing accuracy over speed is still advisable — a wrong flip wastes a turn and reduces your time buffer for later pairs.

Cumulative session bonuses

Some rounds may offer cumulative bonuses for clearing multiple rounds in a single play session. Plan to play at least 3–5 rounds per session to maximize these bonuses.

Event shop

Lucky Paper Star currency can be exchanged in the Event Shop for:

  • Exclusive event items — themed items only available during this event window
  • Enhancement materials — level-up resources for characters and equipment
  • Character ascension resources — materials needed to promote Trekkers to higher rarities
  • Artifact upgrade components — crafting materials for divine artifacts

The Event Shop opens simultaneously with the event and remains accessible until September 28, 2026 19:59 (UTC-7). Unlike the story portion of Go My Lady (which closes September 21), the Fatebound Stellar Deck shop stays open through the full event duration.

Strategy tips

  1. Memory technique — scan the entire grid briefly before making your first flip. Try to memorize the position of high-value cards you spot. Even 2–3 seconds of mental mapping can dramatically improve your match rate.
  2. Work systematically — some players find it helpful to mentally segment the grid into zones and clear one zone at a time. This reduces cognitive load compared to scanning the entire grid randomly.
  3. Prioritize common symbols — if certain card types appear more frequently in the grid, match those first to build momentum and bank rewards early.
  4. Time bonus vs. accuracy — a wrong flip costs you the entire turn. Two wrong flips in quick succession can eat 10–15 seconds of the timer. Accuracy is generally worth more than speed in this event.
  5. Daily play — participate each day during the event window. The cumulative nature of round bonuses means consistent daily play outperforms cramming all rounds into a single long session.
  6. Pair with Urgent Bounty — farming stages during the Urgent Bounty window simultaneously earns bonus drops from the Fatebound Stellar Deck rounds you run on the same day.

Event notes

This event runs simultaneously with A Finale Echoing and Urgent Bounty from September 21–28. The Authorization Level requirement of 5+ is more accessible than A Finale Echoing (10+) but higher than Urgent Bounty (3+). Players who meet the Auth 5 threshold should participate in all three events during this window.

Note that the event grid complexity increases with each round. New players who are still building their rosters should not be discouraged by early difficulty — even completing 2–3 rounds per session earns meaningful rewards over the full week.

Do not confuse the Lucky Paper Star currency from this event with the Lucky Paper Star currency earned from the Go My Lady Training Handbook Plus event. Both currencies share the same name but are tracked separately and are not interchangeable between events.
