Stellar Affinity Summon Priority Guide
Pull the carry first, support second, and know when launch generosity ends.
Summon priority in Stellar Affinity is not the same as a tier list screenshot. The tier list tells you who is strong; this page tells you when to spend which ticket lane on which role so launch mail, login pulls, and story free six-star growth do not fight each other. After the 29 July 2026 EROLABS release, captains receive newbie targeted recruit, a cumulative login campaign (~200 pulls), seven-day carnival tickets, and a story path that can raise a designated core toward 6★. Without a written order, every banner looks mandatory. Watch the embedded JP CBT gacha footage for menu flow, then verify rates on your live client — CBT UI can differ from launch builds.
Priority stack (default launch account)
- One carry — the girl who clears docks, receives story free six-star mats, and anchors best teams.
- One sustain or utility support — reduces bullet-hell retries and keeps idle routes stable (combat & idle).
- Bond catalysts on the same names — gifts and scenes for carry + support, not the whole roster (Hime Bonds, Cumpanions.
- Flex counters — only when planet walkthrough or current events prove a role gap.
- Collection / luxury pulls — after carnival pressure drops and artifacts convert cleanly. If step 1 is missing, pause steps 4–5 no matter how pretty the banner art is.
Light Festival limited banner — Isuna (伊絲娜)
The Light Festival (沐光节) limited recruit for Isuna ran 29 July – 12 August 2026 maintenance and is now closed. She was never a substitute for finishing newbie targeted recruit or story free 6★ mats on your written carry.
- If you pulled her — assign Core / Flex / Bond-only / Bench using the Isuna seat rules; raise only Core/Flex.
- If you skipped her — valid. Protect the gem floor for the next limited that answers a role gap.
- Star Dream Divination sticks were event currency — do not confuse leftovers with login pulls; see the Light Festival archive. Full autopsy: Isuna. Weekly board: current events.
How launch lanes interact
| Lane | Priority rule | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Newbie targeted recruit | Finish or knowingly abandon one target before splitting | Rotating dream girl daily |
| Login pull (~200) | Bank until carry decision is inked | Day-one banner binge |
| Story free 6★ | Feed the same carry as newbie recruit | Spreading story mats across three girls |
| Carnival tickets | Spend toward written role gaps | Auto-pull the moment a box completes |
| Star diamonds / CBT 200% return | Reserve for limited banners that complete teams | Celebrating mail by emptying wallet |
| Pair lane rules with gacha & summon and the F2P plan so premium currency follows the same stack. |
Carry first: what carry means here
A carry is not merely highest DPS on paper. She must:
- Clear mid-planet nodes you actually farm this week.
- Survive the boss checks that gate the next dock.
- Accept artifact modules from artifacts & energy without needing a full re-roll of bonds.
- Match the story free six-star designate you already committed in progression. Use roster archetypes — burst striker, sustained artillery, shield anchor — instead of chasing undocumented names from fan art.
Support second: when the carry can wait
Pull or raise support when:
- You die to patterns despite adequate levels — sustain or shield roles matter in bullet-hell walls.
- Idle harvest is online but active clears still time out — cooldown or AoE comfort modules help.
- Carnival missions demand bond actions — a support you actually gift beats a luxury DPS you ignore. Do not pull a second carry for variety before the first carry’s divine artifacts slots are functional.
Bond catalysts are summon-adjacent investments
Hime Bonds and Cumpanions are not gacha pulls, but they compete for the same weekly attention budget. A girl you will never gift should not receive tickets or limit-break mats. Conversely, a mid-tier favorite you fully bond can outperform a neglected SSR because energy conversion feeds artifacts.
Soft pity mindset (CBT-reported, verify live)
Japanese CBT footage from community captains displayed a rate table where SSR sat around 0.7% with the remainder at 99.3% other outcomes in that capture. Label that CBT-reported — patches, regions, and banner types can change numbers. Until you screenshot the official table in your client:
- Plan multi-pull batches with a stop condition, not infinite one more.
- Write the target on summon planner before opening the banner UI.
- Separate reroll experiments from keepers before spending valuable codes (reroll).
- Stop when the account goal is met — extra duplicates rarely fix artifact gaps.
When to stop pulling entirely
Set any of these as hard stops:
- Carry + usable support online with conversion unlocked.
- Newbie lane finished or consciously abandoned on a keeper reroll.
- Login pull stash earmarked for a named limited banner window.
- Story free six-star path feeding the same carry without duplicate investment.
- Gem floor hit on currencies — e.g., reserve for sudden current events rate-up.
Reroll vs commit decision tree
- Reroll while tutorial tickets are cheap and bonds are shallow — see reroll.
- Commit once Cumpanion stage-ups, carnival day 3+ claims, or CBT diamond mail attach to the account.
- Never reroll after redeeming limited active codes on a keeper.

Worked example — week-one F2P
Day 1: Lock burst carry archetype from tier list. Finish newbie recruit or reroll once. Day 2–3: Bank login pulls; push one dock; start bonds on carry only. Day 4: Pull support if wall persists after artifacts check. Day 5–7: Spend carnival tickets only toward missing role; hold remaining login stash for first limited banner you care about. Story mats and gifts follow the same two names all week.
Worked example — CBT return spender
Mail shows 200% diamond return. Screenshot it. Execute the F2P stack first — carry, support, artifacts — then allocate written diamond budget toward one limited support that completes team builds. Do not skip support because diamonds feel infinite; artifact and bond gaps still gate docks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Should I pull on the standard banner during newbie recruit?
Finish or abandon the newbie lane first — splitting tickets early is the most common launch mistake.
How do login pulls (~200) fit summon priority?
Bank them until your carry target is written; spend in batches toward role gaps, not day-one curiosity.
Does story free 6★ replace pulling a carry?
It replaces **some** investment on your designated core, not every support or limited banner you may want later.
Is the ~0.7% SSR rate official?
It was CBT-reported in JP footage — verify the live in-client rate table on your account before planning hard.
When should I stop pulling?
When carry + support are functional, newbie lane is resolved, and your gem floor on [currencies](/items/currencies/) is intact.
Where do I track my personal summon plan?
