Stellar Affinity Midgame Priorities (August 2026)

What to do when launch carnival and Light Festival timers stop shouting every login.

Stellar Affinity Midgame Priorities Guide

As of 13 August 2026, most Stellar Affinity captains on EROLABS have left the loudest launch weeks behind: the seven-day carnival is residual or gone, the Light Festival (沐光节) has hit maintenance, and login pull campaigns no longer feel infinite. Midgame is not a new game mode — it is a priority rewrite. This guide is the rewrite.

If you still have unspent festival sticks, open Light Festival first. If day-one mail is unclaimed, finish launch rewards. Everything below assumes those spikes are claimed or consciously abandoned.

Midgame north star (one sentence)

Keep one carry converting affection → energy → artifacts, protect a gem floor, and treat every new banner as optional until a written role gap appears.

Write that sentence into the summon planner and the F2P plan. Midgame accounts die from FOMO, not from missing a single shop SKU.

Weekly midgame stack (priority order)

  1. Mail + login claims — still not Redeem unless active codes lists a string.
  2. Carry bonds — Talk / Gift / Mission on mains only (Hime Bonds, Cumpanions, bond checklist).
  3. One conversion pass — energy into the modules your carry actually wears (artifacts & energy, divine artifacts).
  4. One combat block — the hardest dock you can clear cleanly (combat & idle, planet walkthrough).
  5. Idle parking — leave harvest running before you log out.
  6. Event shop uniques — only if current events names a non-returning SKU.
  7. Optional pulls — only after steps 1–6 and a written stop condition.

If a session only finishes steps 1–5, it was a successful midgame day. Steps 6–7 are bonus, not homework.

Gem and ticket discipline after the spike

Launch generosity trains bad habits: every rate-up feels “affordable.” Midgame reverses that.

  • Keep the gem floor from the F2P plan visible on paper or in the planner.
  • Leftover login tickets are savings, not a fire sale.
  • Limited girls after Isuna still need a role sentence: “fills Template B sustain” beats “cute on the banner.”
  • CBT 200% diamond returns (if you had them) are already spent or reserved — do not treat midgame shops as a second CBT.

Cross-check sinks on currencies so fragments and diamonds never swap mental slots.

Roster: stop expanding seats

Midgame power comes from depth, not binder width.

  • Raise the story free 6★ designate and one support that keeps bullet-hell retries low (best teams, team builds).
  • Bench everyone else for collection or bond favorites you actually gift.
  • Re-read the tier list only after patch notes mention combat or energy changes — not after every cosmetic drip.

Captains who open five new projects when festival ends usually return a week later with the same dock wall and empty shops.

Do not keep beginner week as your forever dashboard once carnival rows are empty — it trains launch-week urgency that midgame should discard.

Fifteen-minute midgame session script

  1. Claim mail / login (60 seconds).
  2. Gift carry + support only (3 minutes).
  3. Convert energy into one artifact slot if mats allow (3 minutes).
  4. Clear or attempt one wall node; screenshot the death if you fail (5 minutes).
  5. Start idle harvest; write tomorrow’s one-line goal (2 minutes).

Watch the embedded combat/idle footage if your rhythm feels wrong — midgame is tempo, not lore homework.

Soft goals that still matter

  • Unique shop modules for the carry.
  • Bond bonus windows on mains.
  • Ticket missions that do not force off-plan banners.
  • Clean client version after hotfixes (com.himefun.stellaraffinity.erolabs when relevant).

Cosmetics, duplicate low-tier shards, and “maybe later” limited banners are release valves — not obligations.

Midgame rewards captains who protect attention the way early game protected tickets. Finish the festival cleanly, then shrink the checklist — do not invent a second launch week.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When does midgame start?

When carnival residuals and Light Festival timers stop owning every login — typically around **12 August 2026** maintenance. Verify in-client.

Should I still open beginner week every day?

No. Graduate to [daily routine](/guides/daily-routine/) and this midgame stack once the carnival board is empty.

I skipped Isuna — am I behind?

Only if she filled a written role gap. Otherwise protect gems and keep the carry loop; see [Light Festival](/events/light-festival/).

What is the first midgame spend?

Non-returning carry modules and bond gifts for mains — not a curiosity banner. Pair with [progression](/builds/progression/).

Do login pulls return after the campaign?

Do not assume a second ~200 dump. Bank leftovers and follow [summon priority](/characters/summon-priority/).

Where do codes fit in midgame?

Still check [active codes](/codes/active/) after livestreams, but mail and shops out-earn sparse public strings.
